Information & Technology Services (ITS) is pleased to present the “Student Computer Pledge.” In the digital era, it is increasingly important that students understand the do’s and don’ts of computer use. The Student Computer Pledge explains rules and safety tips for using computers in a child-friendly manner.

Links below.

A PDF of the pledge that can be distributed in classrooms or printed as posters for display in computer labs and/or other locations.

A png of the “pledge card” (you must be logged into your CPS@Google account) is linked. The pledge card is a condensed version of the full pledge that students can carry with them.

There are a lot of ways to use this material. For example: The card can be used as an access card to the computer lab and can be used as a free-time pass for computer use during class time. The poster can be used in larger lesson plans about internet safety and/or etiquette.
